WORLD INDOOR SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP
News» 2014 World Indoor Soccer Championship

With 2013 quickly drawing to a close, all eyes are beginning to look to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil as the next major sporting event that will be truly global in nature. With nearly one in every four people on earth expected to watch the World Cup, LNBG LLC and Lord Neil Gibson have announced preliminary plans to host a five day indoor soccer tournament called the World Indoor Football Championship in Las Vegas to act as a preliminary event early in the year. While the specifics of the event are still being developed, expected interest from sponsors, advertisers and investment houses is expected to be quite high. As many as sixteen countries are expected to participate in the event, garnishing global attention and media.
While coordination of an effort of this magnitude has caused problems in execution for teams in the past, LNBG LLC plan to draw on their long history of creative strategic partnering and their diverse development team to unify the elements necessary to carry out the daunting task of planning, execution and media coverage. With a worldwide audience comes strategic hurdles as far as distribution, and options are being considered by LNBG LLC that include traditional television and internet exposure.

(Las Vegas, NV – August 4th, 2013) Saber Ultra Precision Ammunition a Nevada corporation (www.saberupa.com) is pleased to announce the unveiling of new state of the art ammunition manufacturing facility.
If you would like to understand the current and future retail ammunition demand; read the accompanied recent news articles, follow the links and watch the videos contained within. Once you have reviewed that content then read below and validate the Saber plan to sell out 100% of its’ Phase II retail ammunition manufacturing months before the land is developed, machines delivered or a single round of ammunition produced.
Lord Neil B Gibson and LNBG team announces our lead in the retail market has been coordinating with the Instructor at Front Sight, Nevada; the largest firearms training school in the country. Front Sight alone trained over 40,000 students last quarter and has doubled their student membership every year for the past 17 years with over 100,000 lifetime members. Jon Licata (President of Retail Sales and Marketing for Saber) brings over ten years of experience in the firearms and shooting industry in the Las Vegas market.
Relationships with indoor ranges, outdoor ranges, gun shops, training schools, gun enthusiasts, sportsman retailers, gun show vendors, the National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) and even the new Mayor of North Las Vegas (responsible for developing the largest outdoor shooting range in North Las Vegas and Saber’s champion for having us in the Apex Industrial Park) gives Saber the access to vendors who can’t fill their current ammunition needs. These needs are growing month after month. Ammunition shortages are reported and growing all over the country.
Saber expects to garner Letters of Intent under its Phase II program under it retail ammunition manufacturing division is estimated to top out more than 320 million rounds annually specifically for the retail market.
Front Sight alone has expressed interest in Saber producing a much as 15 million private labeled rounds annually at their current student demand and in 18 months that number should swell to as much as 24 million rounds annually. That is one retailer after having just a few short conversations with Saber. Guns shops in Las Vegas alone can’t meet the current demand, are limiting sales to 1 to 3 boxes per customer per day and are still selling 1 million rounds a month.
Lord Neil Gibson cites you’ve heard of the FIELD of DREAMS quote “If you build it, they will come!” Sabers quote goes a bit differently… “Better hurry up and build it, they’re already here and waiting!”

Rumor Of Robert Duvall's Interest In Seat At Whitey Bulger Trial Shot Down By U.S. Attorney's Office
BOSTON -- The United States attorney's office has denied reports that famed "Godfather" actor Robert Duvall has asked for a seat in the courtroom for reputed mobster James "Whitey" Bulger's racketeering and murder trial.
An unspecified film company associated with Duvall inquired about seating, a U.S. attorney's office spokeswoman told The Huffington Post. But no one asked to reserve a seat specifically for Duvall, who played Corleone family consigliere Tom Hagen in the Oscar-winning film saga.
"The film office called, but not on behalf of Mr. Duvall," spokeswoman Christina Sterling told HuffPost on Friday. "It was not for the actor."
Duvall has been in Boston and other parts of Massachusetts recently to film "The Judge," and reports that the actor wanted to attend Bulger's trial appeared in theBoston Globe and New York Daily News.
Attempts to reach Duvall and his representatives were unsuccessful.
Seating in the small courtroom at the John Joseph Moakley Federal Courthouse is limited, so Duvall or anyone else looking for admission to the Bulger proceedings might have to make an offer the courthouse can't refuse.
There are approximately 70 seats, but only 15 are available to members of the public. The rest are reserved for victims' families, members of the press, Bulger's relatives, the prosecution and defense, and officials from some government agencies.

Presently projects which were started when gas prices were high, no longer make economic sense. With our generators, these properties are now able to be profitable. Israel strikes Syria, says targeting Hezbollah arms
(Reuters) - Israeli jets devastated Syrian targets near Damascus on Sunday in a heavy overnight air raid that Western and Israeli officials called a new strike on Iranian missiles bound for Lebanon's Hezbollah.
As Syria's two-year-old civil war veered into the potentially atomic arena of Iran's confrontation with Israel and the West over its nuclear program, people were woken in the Syrian capital by explosions that shook the ground like an earthquake and sent pillars of flame high into the night sky.
"Night turned into day," one man told Reuters from his home at Hameh, near one of the targets, the Jamraya military base.
But for all the angry rhetoric in response from Tehran and from the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, it was unclear whether the second such raid in 48 hours would elicit any greater reaction than an Israeli attack in the same area in January, which was followed by little evident change.
The Syrian government accused Israel of effectively helping al Qaeda Islamist "terrorists" and said the strikes "open the door to all possibilities"; but Israeli officials said that, as in January, they were calculating Assad would not pick a fight with a well-armed neighbor while facing defeat at home.
Denying it was weighing in on the rebel side on behalf of Washington - which opposes Assad but is hesitating to intervene - officials said Israel was pursuing its own conflict, not with Syria but with Iran, and was acting to prevent Iran's Hezbollah allies receiving missiles that might strike Tel Aviv if Israel made good on threats to attack Tehran's nuclear program.
What Israel was not doing, they stressed, was getting drawn into a debate that has raged in the United States lately of whether the alleged use of poison gas by Assad's forces should prompt the West finally to give military backing to oust him.
Israel was not taking sides in a civil war that has pitted Assad's government, a dour but mostly toothless adversary for nearly 40 years, against Sunni rebels, some of them Islamist radicals, who might one day turn Syria's armory against the Jewish state.
It is a mark of how two years of killing in which at least 70,000 Syrians have died has not only inflamed a wider, regional confrontation between Shi'ite Muslim Iran and Sunni Arabs, some of them close Western allies, but have also left Israel and Western powers scrambling to reassess where their interests lie.
Egypt, the most populous Arab state and flagship of the 2011 Arab Spring revolts where elected Islamists have replaced a Western-backed autocrat, has no love for Assad. But on Sunday it condemned Israel's air strikes as a breach of international law that "made the situation more complicated".
ROCKETS TARGETED
Israel does not confirm such missions explicitly - a policy it says is intended to avoid provoking reprisals. But an Israeli official told Reuters on condition of anonymity that the strikes were carried out by its forces, as was a raid early on Friday that U.S. President Barack Obama said had been justified.
A Western intelligence source told Reuters: "In last night's attack, as in the previous one, what was attacked were stores of Fateh-110 missiles that were in transit from Iran to Hezbollah."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his aim for Israel was to "guarantee its future" - language he has used to warn of a willingness to attack Iran's nuclear sites, even in defiance of U.S. advice, as well as to deny Hezbollah heavier weapons.
He later flew to China on a scheduled trip, projecting confidence there would be no major escalation - though Israel has reinforced its anti-missile batteries in the north.
Syrian state television said bombing at a military research facility at Jamraya and two other sites caused "many civilian casualties and widespread damage", but it gave no details. The Jamraya compound was also a target for Israel on January 30.
Hezbollah's Al-Manar television showed a flattened building spread over the size of a football pitch, with smoke rising from rubble containing shell fragments. It did not identify it.
Syrian state television quoted a letter from the foreign minister to the United Nations saying: "The blatant Israeli aggression has the aim to provide direct military support to the terrorist groups after they failed to control territory."
Obama defended Israel's right to block "terrorist organizations like Hezbollah" from acquiring weapons after Friday's raid, and a White House spokesman said on Sunday: "The president many times has talked about his view that Israel, as a sovereign government, has the right to take the actions they feel are necessary to protect their people."
It was unclear that Israel had sought U.S. approval for the strikes, although the White House spokesman said: "The close coordination between the Obama administration, the United States of America, is ongoing with the Israeli government."
Obama has in recent years worked to hold back Netanyahu from making good on threats to hit facilities where he says Iran, despite its denials, is working to develop a nuclear weapon.
On Sunday, some Israeli officials highlighted Obama's reluctance to be drawn into new conflict in the Middle East to explain Israel's need for independent action.
Syria restricts access to independent journalists. Its state media said Israeli aircraft struck three places between Damascus and the nearby Lebanese border. The city also lies barely 50 km (30 miles) from Israeli positions on the occupied Golan Heights.
Tehran, which has long backed Assad, whose Alawite minority has religious ties to Shi'ite Islam, denied the attack was on armaments for Lebanon and called for nations to stand firm against Israel. A senior Iranian commander was quoted, however, as saying Syria's armed forces were able to defend themselves without their allies, though Iran could help them with training.
Hezbollah, a Shi'ite movement that says it is defending Lebanon from Israeli aggression, declined immediate comment.
ISRAELI CONCERNS
Analysts say the Fateh-110 could put the Tel Aviv metropolis in range of Hezbollah gunners, 100 km (60 miles) to the north, bolstering the arsenal of a group that fired some 4,000 shorter-range rockets into Israel during a month-long war in 2006.
"What we want is to ensure that inside the Syrian chaos we will not see Hezbollah growing stronger," Israeli lawmaker Tzachi Hanegbi, a confidant of Netanyahu, told Army Radio.
"The world is helplessly looking on at events in Syria, the Americans in particular, and this president in particular," he added of Obama. "He has left Iraq, Afghanistan and has no interest in sending ground troops to Syria ... That is why, as in the past, we are left with our own interests, protecting them with determination and without getting too involved."
Video footage uploaded onto the Internet by Syrian activists showed a series of blasts. One lit up the skyline of Damascus, while another sent up a tower of flames and secondary blasts.
Syrian state news agency SANA said Israeli aircraft struck in three places: northeast of Jamraya; the town of Maysaloun on the Lebanese border; and the nearby Dimas air base.
"The sky was red all night," one man said from Hameh, near Jamraya. "We didn't sleep a single second. The explosions started after midnight and continued through the night."
Central Damascus was quiet on the first day of the working week, and government checkpoints seemed reinforced. Some opposition activists said they were glad strikes might weaken Assad, even if few Syrians have any liking for Israel: "We don't care who did it," Rania al-Midania said in the capital. "We care that those weapons are no longer there to kill us."

Abby Stoddard, who works on the Aid Worker Security Database, told IRIN, “Those numbers clearly show kidnapping to be a major and growing threat. In 2011 the numbers of kidnapping incidents outnumbered shootings - roadside and otherwise - as the main form of attack used against aid workers.”
How to respond
Several major aid agencies have begun training staff on how to cope with kidnappings, and agencies have had to formulate policies on how to respond if they are asked for ransom.
A Save the Children spokesperson told IRIN, “Anyone who goes near a difficult or dangerous zone has to do a week’s intensive course. Aid workers are kidnapped, and we are under no illusions that we are going to be untouched.”
Save the Children had two people kidnapped in central Somalia in 2010. “We relied on negotiating through local clan elders. We achieved their safe release, and we are incredibly grateful to all the people who helped,” said the spokesperson, adding, “Save the Children does not pay ransom. That is absolute. It’s our belief that paying ransom would make us more of a target.”
Oxfam agrees. “We never pay ransom,” said Heather Hughes, Oxfam UK’s security advisor. “Although, to be honest, we at Oxfam have never really been tested. A number of our people have been kidnapped, but we have always been able to rely on our contacts in the country to get them released.”
But hostage negotiations are complicated, Stoddard points out. “The vast majority of these kidnappings ended in negotiated release of the victim, but it is impossible to know in how many cases there was a ransom payment made, as agencies do not admit publicly to paying ransoms - or contracting third-party negotiators who cut deals with kidnappers - for obvious reasons,” she said.
Oxfam’s Hughes recognizes things are not always black and white. “There are many ways in which money can change hands,” she told IRIN. “It’s not always the agency which pays. Sometimes the victim’s government pays, and governments differ in their attitudes. For the big agencies, their international staff can be very international indeed. We are British, but our most recent member of staff to be kidnapped was actually Swiss.”
Legal concerns
Ransom payments to designated terrorist groups are prohibited under international law. But countries such as France, Germany and Spain are alleged to have paid tens of millions of dollars over the past decade to secure the release of nationals taken hostage by groups linked to Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), circumventing the prohibitions by making the payments through intermediaries. This put such countries at odds with the UK and the US, which refuse to pay ransoms, even indirectly.
“The payments of ransoms of this kind prove themselves to be beyond irresponsible,” said Peter Pham, director of US-based research group Ansari Africa Center. “You can’t even pretend you don’t know where that money is going to: to purchase men and arms to use in violent conflict.”
But while the UK government has taken a strong public stance against the payment of ransom, a recent meeting on the issue at the House of Commons revealed a more nuanced policy. The policy - “we do not pay ransom or make any substantive concessions to kidnappers” - allows, through the use of the word “substantive”, a small amount of wriggle room. Officials also say they are willing to negotiate and will talk to anyone who might be able to help.
People who may one day have to negotiate the release of a captive fear that hardline policies against ransom could criminalize choosing to pay. But this is not necessarily the case; even though the UK government does not pay ransom, it has not attempted to prevent its citizens from doing so when the kidnappers are criminal groups rather than terrorists.
Shipping companies commonly pay ransom to retrieve their vessels from Somali pirates. The going rate for a large merchant ship is believed to be around US$5 million. For them, and for oil companies working in the Niger Delta, ransom is one of the recognized costs of doing business. Some Nigerian employees have been kidnapped and released several times.
These companies are inclined to pay up quickly, rather than engage in long, delicate negotiations to reduce the ransom amount. But what these companies pay ends up setting the price kidnappers expect, regardless of what organization their victims work for.
There are security companies that, for a fee, will advise on and assist with ransom negotiations. While their job is to reduce kidnappers’ demands as much as possible, these professional negotiators oppose legislation criminalizing the payment of ransom. They point out that various attempts over the years to outlaw ransom payments have failed to achieve their aim, largely because the families of victims - even when threatened with prosecution - will always find a way to pay.

Examiner Editorial: The culture war is all Obama has left
When former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean began campaigning for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination, he would regularly say in his stump speech, "I am tired of fighting elections on guns, God and gays. We're going to fight this election on our turf, which is going to be jobs, education and health care."
Fast-forward 10 years to the third month of President Obama's second term. Suddenly, the Democrats' turf doesn't look so friendly anymore. It's not hard to see why they're changing gears to fight a culture war of their own choosing.
The U.S. economy is still suffering through the weakest economic recovery since the Great Depression. Unemployment is stubbornly high, especially for Americans age 25 to 54, who make up the core of the nation's workforce. And the American public does not approve of Obama's bumbling and ineffectual attempts to handle the economy.

Meanwhile, Obama's failure to reach a grand bargain on deficit reduction has completely killed any hopes for new jobs or education programs. Instead of pushing for new stimulus spending or $10 billion a year for his proposed early education program, Obama is just trying to survive this year's $85 billion in sequester spending cuts.
Obama's signature domestic accomplishment, Obamacare, remains highly unpopular. Health care premiums are rising, as its opponents predicted, and numerous newspaper stories are now highlighting how the law is either discouraging new hiring altogether or forcing more Americans into part-time work involuntarily. The key component of the law, the state-based insurance exchanges, are supposed to be up and running in just over seven months, and no one believes they will be functioning properly. The federal bureaucrat in charge of implementing the exchanges recently told industry officials that he is no longer trying to make these exchanges provide a "world-class experience," but instead merely hoping they won't provide "a Third World experience."
Suddenly, guns, God and gays don't look so bad as key issues for the Democratic Party.
On Saturday, Obama devoted his weekly radio address to proposed new gun control laws, including background checks (which would not have prevented the tragedy in Newtown, Conn.) and the restoration of a demonstrably ineffective assault weapons ban that expired in 2004 after failing to prevent several of America's saddest and most memorable mass shootings. Given that nearly all gun violence is perpetrated with handguns -- not long guns and not so-called "assault weapons" -- it seems Obama's new focus on guns is designed not so much to prevent gun deaths as to energize Democratic voters who look down their noses at gun enthusiasts in flyover country.
And over the past week the most dangerous place to be in Washington was between a microphone and every Democratic politician looking to announce their newfound support for same-sex marriage. Democrats, detecting a sudden shift in public opinion on the issue, are just now starting to lead from behind.
Unless the economy markedly improves in the near future, or Obamacare is miraculously implemented without a hitch, expect Obama and the White House to turn the 2014 election into an all-out culture war centered around gun control and gay marriage. This is the only turf that appears remotely friendly to them these days

Obama's Inauguration Address Was Conservative
Justin Sullivan/Getty Images
If the president's speech was judged to be the opposite of conservative, then conservatism is in worse shape than we thought, David Swerdlick writes at the Hill.
Hardly a liberal call to arms, Obama's second inaugural was a conservative speech that touched on universal, almost inarguable themes that recast the traditional American dream in a modern context -- and that could easily have been delivered by a GOP president -- past, present or future.Starting off with a nod to the Declaration of Independence -- and a tone that was pure benediction and contained no condemnation -- Obama affirmed that "what makes us Americans is our allegiance to an idea articulated in a declaration made more than two centuries ago. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal" -- before reminding that those same truths have "never been self-executing" and admonishing that although "freedom is a gift from God, it must be secured by his people here on earth."Obama moved on to say that "We are true to our creed when a little girl born into the bleakest poverty knows that she has the same chance to succeed as anybody else because she is an American, she is free, and she is equal not just in the eyes of God but also in our own" -- ratifying the oft-stated Republican credo of equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome.

Belize Eco-Village Housing Project and Lord Neil B Gibson
Belize Eco-Village Housing Program |
---|
Overview
Ecovillages are people-based initiatives to model sustainable, low-impact, human settlements. They are applicable to both rural and urban settings and accessible to all. Eco-villagers utilize green energy technology, ecological building techniques, and human-scale design to reduce exploitation of natural resources, facilitate community self-reliance, and improve quality of life. Medical clinics will be included in the development of each village. These medical clinics can assist in the care management of other local villages and expand the Belize Healthcare footprint. They are about the creation of new settlements as well as retrofitting existing villages and urban areas. An ecovillage is designed in harmony with its bioregion instead of the landscape being unduly engineered to fit construction plans. By thinking in terms of bioregions, sustainable settlements are planned considering water availability, the ability to grow food, and accessibility. Many projects use the principles of permaculture for creating integrated, interactive and efficient systems for structural planning, food production and social needs in their community. Ecovillages are human scale, (somewhere where you can feel you know the others in your community), fully featured settlements, (comprising housing, businesses, agriculture, culture, etc. as appropriate to the local setting), in which human activity is integrated harmlessly into the natural world, supports human development and can be continued into the indefinite future. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of ecovillages around the world that have been living true to their values, even if it means not quite meeting the building codes or zoning laws according to their local government. Global Ecovillage Network defines ecovillages as “Alternative experimentation laboratories, with food production, ecological buildings, a resources center, a reception place, or artistic workshops. The aim is to create, together, a convivial and fair way of life, with a minimal ecological trace becoming more socially, economically and ecologically sustainable.” There are examples of Ecovillage Zoning and Sustainable Development Testing Sites in Taos, NM, Portland, OR, Eugene, OR and British Columbia. There are many more with pending legislation across the globe. |
Modular in design and scalability.
There are a number of benefits in using ISBUs – inter-model steel building units – for home building or residential projects. Otherwise known as shipping container houses, these sturdy, steel structures are a captivating idea.
Shipping containers are made from special steel in order to be strong enough to withstand rough conditions at seas and long exposure to outside elements while being able to protect the goods stored inside. They are made to a standard set of measurements in order to be stackable the world over. There are three sizes – 20 feet long or 40 & 53 feet long. Each shipping container has a width of 8 feet and a height of 8 feet 6 inches or 9.6 in high cube versions. Because of their uniform size, large number, and the fact that they were built to last, it became important to consider alternative uses for containers that began to stack up in back lots and shipping docks. Years ago, the military explored their potential for portable operation centers. It wasn’t too long, however, before their low cost and ready availability attracted the attention of architects and builders with a unique need – safe, fast, inexpensive construction for hospitals, office space, apartments, and homes.
Besides the obvious quality of building material, there are several eco advantages to the use of this component. Globally these containers are discarded after their service life is finished. They are then used for artificial reefs, thrown in landfills or melted for scrap. The availability of these containers globally reduces our need to manufacture from virgin materials which are precious resources for the future of the world.
